CHOOSING THE PARAMETERS TO USE
:MAKEIT athingof[;SIZEOF=[height[,width[,depth[,color]]]]]
We aren't forced to choose a "width" or "depth" -- BRACKETS [ ] let you
know that the choice is yours.
We might decide NOT to specify a "width" or a "depth". That's fine.
There might be good reasons for leaving them out. We could try:
makeit barn;sizeof=75,red
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: BUT THE COMPUTER WOULD REJECT THE COMMAND IF WE TYPED IT THIS WAY ::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Why?
"Width" and "height" are optional. No question about it. But in this
case, the COMMAS are required. True, there are no braces { } to show
that the commas are needed. How do you know what to do?
The answer is in the way the pairs of brackets fit inside each other.
