Negates a previously issued VSRESERVESYS for the specified
volume set. This corresponds to the LDISMOUNT command.

VSRELEASESYS volumesetname
volumesetname The name of the MPE/iX volume set for which a
previously issued VSRESERVESYS command has been
issued. Refer to "OPERATION".
This command is used to negate a previously issued
VSRESERVESYS command for the specified volume set. It
informs the system that the volume set is no longer reserved
system-wide.
This command does not prohibit individual VSRESERVE
(MOUNT) or VSRELEASE (DISMOUNT) commands issued for the
specific volume set by individual users.
MPE/iX uses a new naming convention for volume sets. Refer
to the MOUNT, DISMOUNT, VSRESERVE, and VSRELEASE
commands.
This command may be issued from a session, job, or in BREAK,
but not from a program. Pressing [Break] has no effect on
this command. This command may be issued only from the
system console.
To request that volume set ACCOUNTING_PAYROLL be released
for all users on the system, enter
VSRELEASESYS ACCOUNTING_PAYROLL
